Annual Service

£150 on 1st occasion, £125 on 2nd, £100 thereafter.*

A full day of TLC for your bike. Everything stripped down, degreased, serviced and re-assembled.  Photo’s taken before, during and after for your records & amusement!

Headset, Hubs, Bottom Bracket, Drivetrain Components – all removed from the bike, cleaned, serviced and then re-installed.

Polished, twice! For a truly beautiful result, this service is often a “better than new” service for your bike.

* The reason the price decreases is due to the massive difference it makes when the bike has had the correct application of anti-seize and/or grease in all the right places, the work progresses more easily, fastenings respond to an input, component adjustments are achieved without excessive effort. The manufacturers produce bikes that are built to a price point, sometimes without generous amounts of TLC during their assembly. I ensure that the bike has the TLC is deserves, it makes a huge difference to the lifespan of the bike and its components.

Standard Labour Rate £50 per hour

Additional £10/hour charged when fitting parts not supplied by MBRS.

All the usual spares and parts are stocked and selected only from reputable brands such as Shimano, SRAM, Continental, DT Swiss and Finish Line etc. I mainly use Park Tools as they haven’t let me down in the last 20+ years!! Some others from Hozan, DT Swiss and some are hand made tools bespoke to wheel building. If you have a specific part or component requirement then I can order them in for you.

Due to the nature of the business, I’m often either working on a bike or instructing a group of mechanics, so answering phone calls within normal business hours is often impossible, so please email me and I will respond to you out of hours, as soon as possible.
